Aniville: Odin Takes on “High School of The Dead”

Odin a huge collector of Anime and Manga takes his time to give his thoughts about the series that he is watching currently. It maybe a repeat or a new series but there is always something that he wants to express to his fans.

When I heard about High School of the Dead the first time I was thinking this could be done interesting if done rest. Unlike live action films you can do a lot more in animation. But then fans were telling me that it was more of an act of perversion and the zombie apocolypse. So I guess I have to take the time out of my schedule and figure out what to think of this series on my own.

High School of the Dead starts on an ordinary day at Fujima Academy in Tokyo until a unexpected visitor comes knocking at the gate. This starts the chain reaction which starts the infection of all the students and teachers except for Takashi Komuro, four friends and The bouncing well endowed School nurse as they team up and fight their way out of the school into the new world after World War Z.

When you start the series you think it will take you on a venture to find the cause and take you through the life of the students and their one teacher. Well it’s far from that in my opinion. The story is uses a lot of panty, bouncing boobies, and other perverted stylings. But look past all that and you actually have a very bloody and well written underlying story which really surprised me that the director took you into a whole sub story about each individual character and how they adjust to live in this new world.

If your a fan of zombie shows and movies I do have to recommend this. Even with the bouncing boobs and panty shots the gore makes up for it all. But this series is not for the underage this is your adult anime.  There’s no nudity but there is plenty of perversion.
